Biographies: Alex Veale, Supply Chain Business Analyst, and Jekaterina Valeviciene, Supply Chain Business Analyst – Intel Corporation
Alex and Jekaterina (JK) are both Supply Chain Business Analysts working for Intel Corporation based in Swindon, UK. Both Alex and JK started their careers at Intel as interns during their university studies where Alex studied IT Management for Business (ITMB) at UWE Bristol and graduated in 2017. JK who graduated in BA Accounting and Finance from Bournemouth University in 2009. JK initially worked in Finance, moving through to Business Operations and now in the supply chain space as a Business Analyst.
The supply chain is a pivotal element of ensuring Intel can do business with its customers, maximising speed and efficiency whilst optimising operations. Alex and JK’s role is focused on order to cash activities and enabling customers to place orders with Intel whilst ensuring they have the best customer experience possible.
Lecture: ‘The role of a Business Analyst in a software development change project’

Business Analysts play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects in a variety of industries and projects. This talk will focus on a project case study as worked by the speakers who will give an overview of the key milestones in the project, the business analyst role and involvement and concluding with some key takeaways and learnings from the process.
The case study is focused on a software development project to transform Intel’s order management system onto a new technology platform, streamlining business process and improving the user experience of interacting with the system.
